What is Integrity Field Support?

Integrity Field Support puts trained personnel at the asset to inspect, sample, test, assess, and document conditions that matter to an integrity program. Foxx supports planned integrity work and field investigations where hands-on assessment is needed to understand what is happening and determine the next step.

Tank core sampling

Tank core sampling uses a specialized top-entry tool to recover a vertical core of settled material from the tank bottom, providing a depth-by-depth profile of solids build-up and composition rather than the single-elevation snapshot provided by a side sample.

Where does Foxx look between inspections?

Five places on a line and a facility where internal and external corrosion show themselves first. Foxx crews cover them on the program's schedule.

Inhibitor and biocide go in here. Foxx checks residual downstream so the program is judged by what arrives, not what was pumped.

How does it work?

    Dig site and coating assessment

    External

    Coating condition and external metal-loss features are evaluated, sampled and tested at the dig to identify the corrosion mechanism, with photos and a site assessment in the report.

  2. 02

    Pig yield sampling

    Internal

    What the pig pushes out is sampled and characterized. It sharpens the internal corrosion assessment and tells you whether pigging frequency is right.

  3. 03

    Tank and facility core sampling

    Facilities

    Built-up solids, water, wax and deposits are cored and characterized to find the high-risk zones and set a proactive monitoring schedule.

    Chemical program monitoring

    Continuous programs

    On-site inhibitor residual and before-and-after bacterial counts confirm the chemical reaches the far end at an effective concentration. Volumes are adjusted on data.

    Product quality

    Incoming streams

    Incoming product is checked against specification so contamination and corrosion threats are caught early and contractual obligations are enforceable.
